ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
The Striking Calamity -
Dimension Vortex — 1-4
3 dimension shifts in 4 verses — surah climax
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ هَلْ مِنْ خَـٰلِقٍ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
O mankind, remember the favor of Allāh upon you. Is there any creator other than Allāh who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
Unique — Provider (3)
Provider appears only here in this surah (24 verses in entire Quran)
وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَـٰتِ سَبْحًا
And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming1
Narrative Shift — 2→3
Shift from Wisdoms to Lessons (opposite dimensions)
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ فَٱسْتَقِيمُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allāh
Dimension Paradox — Supplication & Command (6)
Opposite dimensions Supplication and Command both peak in the same verse
إِنَّا سَنُلْقِى عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا
Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word.1
Peak — Unseen (5)
Unseen is far above surah average (90%)
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ
Do they not reflect upon the Quran? — 4:82
